Almost three years ago, my wife and I took a leap to start our own pool furniture business. That was a scary moment, but after many months of preparation, it slowly started to show promise toward the end of 2019. The following two years were beyond our expectations, and the business grew despite the challenges we were all facing that year. At the end of 2021, we were offered a chance to sell the entire company and do something new. So here we go again. What is next?

We decided to look at one of our other interests, outside recreation and RV’ing/camping. We wanted to use our skills in marketing and distribution to promote outdoor-related products to enhance families’ experiences while being together and enjoying the outside.

PHEK Outdoors combines our kids’ names – Paxton, Hadley, Emma, and Kelby. We wanted to show them what we do, get them involved in the business, and enjoy our outdoor experiences with new and fun products.

We are family-owned in Houston, Texas, where we stock and ship all our products and manage all aspects of the business. We source products from the United States and worldwide, always looking for the best quality, innovation, and prices for our customers. Our manufacturers have excellent reputations and are audited yearly for social and eco-responsibility. We take pride in using suppliers who comply with established manufacturing standards and policies. We research and vet every new supplier, and we always stand behind the quality of our products and our warranties.

Today, we offer water-related products with inflatable paddle boards, kayaks, and docks. As we look to launch in the Summer of 2022, we are constantly looking for new products and hope to bring you products based on fire, wind, and earth — the four natural elements.
